YOUTH PROGRAMS
JUNIOR JAZZ Leagues for Grades 3rd-12th Separate Leagues for Boys & Girls Registration is in November Program Runs November through February.
K-1 INSTRUCTIONAL BASKETBALL Registration Deadline is in early January. Play is one afternoon each week in each Elementary School.
2ND GRADE BASKETBALL LEAGUE Registration Deadline is in early January. This is meant as a Recreational League and as a transition between Instructional Basketball and the regular Junior Jazz Program.
TENNIS LESSONS Lessons in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn. All ages are welcome.
POWER TUMBLING Classes run during the school year. Classes for all ages.
JUNIOR GOLF CLINIC Every Summer. Check with Carbon County Country Club for dates (435) 637-2388.
HUNTER SAFETY Contact Division of Wildlife Resources for classes (435) 637-0260.
TACKLE FOOTBALL League for 5th-7th Grade Boys. Registration is in May. Games are played August through October.
SUMMER DAY CAMP Begins the first week in June and runs for eight weeks Monday through Thursday from 9am to noon. There is a different theme each week and a different activity each day and a fun field trip each week too. The kids also get lunch in conjunction with the Carbon School District's Summer Lunch Program. |

CEU BASEBALL CAMP Held in February.
T-BALL COACH PITCH For Ages 4-6 For Ages 7-9 Registration for both is in May.
GIRLS SOFTBALL For ages 9-12. Registration is in May.
SOCCER Two seasons each year. Registration is in early March and late August. Leagues for youth from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
FLAG FOOTBALL Registration is in late August. League for 1st-4th Graders.
WRESTLING Begins in January and runs through March. Practice is at Carbon High School Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for the advanced class. Beginners practice is Wednesday and Thursday evenings at Mont Harmon Junior High. Program does not include participation in USA Wrestling, nor in tournaments.

PHOTOGRAPHY Class is held in September and October. This class is meant to take you to the next step in your photography. Learn to "see" life through the lens of a camera.
CREATIVE WRITING Class is held in January and February.
SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS Aug 7-8, 2009 - Carbon County Fair Tournament $150 per team - Divisions for Men, and Co-Ed: Registration Deadline Aug. 5 - Three game guarantee. No refunds or credits will be given once a team has registered. No Exceptions!!

GENERAL INFORMATION Pre-registration is required. Programs have minimum participation requirements and will not be held if there are not enough registrations. Some programs also fill to capacity. We attempt to run programs as planned. However, details (dates, times, etc.) for programs are subject to change due to space availability or other reasons beyond our control.
REFUND POLICY Recreation has a strict refund policy. No cash refunds will be given, unless the program is cancelled. All other refunds will be given in credit form. Fees will be refunded in most cases prior to the beginning of an activity. Youth sports programs will be refunded after the first activity. In some cases refunds cannot be given after registration. Printed copies of the policy are available at the office.
REDUCED FEE POLICY Recreation will waive half of the fee for children in low income families to participate in some programs. Call the office for a list of programs or for more information.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL Recreation has rock climbing equipment, snowshoes, mountaineering equipment, backpacking equipment, and camping equipment available for rent. Call for more details or click here to see the list now!
