Welcome to the Carbon County Sheriff's Office web page.  Inside you will find information about the department and employees that serve the residents of Carbon County.  Expect new and updated information frequently.  The Carbon County Sheriff's Office is responsible for patrolling and answering calls in unincorporated areas of the county, as well as assisting municipal city police departments and the Utah Highway Patrol. The Sheriff's Office also employs many Correctional Officers to staff the county jail where inmates from all law enforcement agencies in the county are housed.

Through innovative leadership, technology, and our dedication to providing quality services, the Sheriff's Office will maximize the use of its resources to provide the highest quality service which will aid in improving the quality of life for the residents of Carbon County.

This decade will bring new challenges to our county, but the commitment of the Carbon County Sheriff's Office will not change. We will continue to provide our community with professional, efficient law enforcement through well-trained officers, technology, crime prevention and a proactive approach to public safety.
